An enamelled copper strip is basically a copper wire which has been coated with a thin insulation layer. It is also popularly referred to as a magnet wire. This enamelled copper strip finds extensive use in manufacturing transformers, motors, inductors, electromagnets and various other applications which need tight insulated wire coils.
